Livifi Inc. ("Livifi") publishes various software applications, and operates related websites including www.livifi.com. It is Livifi's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites or applications.
Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
Credentials: In order to use certain Livifi applications, users are required to sign-up on the Livifi.com web-site or iPhone application. As part of the sign-up process, users are required to enter their email address, a username and password of their choice (together referred to as "credentials"). We require and store these credentials in order to authenticate you and prevent third parties from accessing your data.
Service Information: Certain Livifi applications enable the users to sign-in and synchronize their information (goals, goal settings, goal progress, etc) with our servers. If you chose utilize these applications, service information is stored securely by us, and is linked to your credentials. We store this information in order to enable you to access your data from multiple devices, as well as from our web-site.
Technical Data: Livifi applications typically interact with our web-servers, and therefore usage of those applications will result in the collection of the information covered in the following section.
Analytics: Livifi applications collect analytics data, logging the various actions that a user performs, often in considerable detail. We only use this information in aggregate form to help us understand how our products are being used and improve them. From time to time, Livifi may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its applications. We may also use this information, for a specific user, to help use diagnose a problem the use may be experiencing.
Technical Information: Like most website operators, Livifi collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Livifi's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Livifi's visitors use its website. From time to time, Livifi may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. Livifi also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users of the web-site. Livifi only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
Service Information: If you are accessing a Livifi application though one of the Livifi web-sites, the previous section ("Application Users" will apply for those interactions.
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Livifi uses cookies to help Livifi identify and track visitors, their usage of Livifi website, and their website access preferences. Livifi visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Livifi's websites, with the drawback that certain features of Livifi's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Livifi may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites or users of its applications. For instance, Livifi may identify the most popular goals or show how its users have performed against their goal targets (in the aggregate). Livifi may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Livifi does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Internal Use: Livifi discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Livifi's behalf or to provide services available at Livifi's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Use of email: We don't spam. If you are a registered user of a Livifi website or application and have supplied your email address, Livifi may occasionally send you email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with Livifi and our products. We provide mechanisms by which you can opt-out of all non-essential communications.
Use of submitted content: If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.
Security: Livifi takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Ads appearing on any of our websites or applications may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Livifi and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.
